There are a wide variety of dermatologic conditions that are evaluated and treated by our board certified physicians. These include (but are not limited to) acne, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, skin lesions, moles and skin cancer. Based on the patient’s presentation and need, the physician determines the best modality in which to treat the condition.

Acne treatment and management are available to our patients whether it be mild or severe and no matter what patient age. Treatments include topicals, oral antibiotics, blue light (photodynamic therapy), and Accutane (isotretinoin) management. For minors, parental involvement is required to ensure compliance and understanding of the patient’s selected treatment.

Upon evaluating patients with psoriasis, the physicians present treatment options that best suit the patient’s lifestyle, general health, and the condition’s severity.  Our practice also coordinates care with pharmaceutical companies that provide prescription medications.

Patients that present with eczema have a variety of treatment plans available to them. Our physicians work with the insurance carriers and prescription plans to prescribe the ideal treatment options. There are also over-the-counter products that are recommended to minimize the discomfort of eczema.

As we age our skin develops moles and other non-cancerous lesions. Our board certified physicians have the resources and training to evaluate such areas thoroughly including the use of magnifying techniques via dermoscopy. Based on these diagnostic outcomes treatment options are available which may include minor surgical procedures.

There is a broad scope of skin cancer types and treatments. Through pathology and other diagnostic methods the physicians determine and treat the cancer type. The patient is kept informed of options (when available) and on-going skin checks are highly encouraged to monitor and treat future conditions.
